Prince Charles has never been shy of putting himself in front of a camera – nor has the royal ever been backwards in coming forwards. So it is probably no surprise that the 73-year-old future King has some very odd travel habits.According to royal expert and author Tina Brown, the Duke of of Wales had several demands when it came to travelling around. In her book The Palace Papers, she claims he would take “an orthopedic bed, lavatory seat, and Kleenex Velvet lavatory paper, plus two landscapes of the Scottish landscapes” every time he went away. She wrote: “When he travelled to stay at friends’ country houses, a truck arrived the day before, bringing his bed, furniture, and even pictures, which his pampering aide Michael Fawcett ensured would be hung in his allotted bedroom in place of the possessions of the host.”She also claimed that the royal has his own glass from which to drink pre-mixed martinis as he would state his menu preferences beforehand.
Ms Brown also shed light on whether or not she feels the Monarchy could survive as brothers William and Harry are at war, alongside the death of Prince Philip, and Prince Andrew's sex scandal.
And the Queen is also said to be suffering from health issues. She told Marie Claire: “This is a very rough period which, of course, happens at a time when the Queen is in her twilight days.“There’s a difference between the rough time they had in the 90s—that, of course, was a rocky time when pretty much all of [the Queen’s] children got divorced in the same year—and the Diana crisis was raging.“This is a particularly rough time.
I think it can survive because of the distinctive players that are following next.“There’s a pessimism about Charles amongst many circles, but I think he’ll be.
