By 2007, she was sometimes ranked as the most influential woman in the world.

And today the 55-year-old stormed off set, after Alex - who has defended the couple and expressed sympathy after experiencing "covert and overt racism in so many occasions" - branded his behaviour "diabolical." While Alex told Piers he knows he's not racist, the issue boiled over and Piers left the set - before returning.
