Jodie, 25, from Childwall and Katarina, 26, from Woolton, became friends while pupils at Catholic girl's school St Julie's in Liverpool and still appear to have one another’s back to this day.
When Katarina won a gold medal at the 2019 World Athletics Championships, Jodie was quick to congratulate her bestie on Instagram.
She wrote: “World champion right there! We couldn’t be prouder of you @johnsonthompson. Your hard work and dedication shows no limits.
