EastEnders back in 2013 and lit up the streets of Walford for seven years. After her character was brutally murdered by villain Gray Atkins, her character made a return to the soap this month when her body was finally discovered at the Argee Bhajee one year after her murder.
Since leaving the soap, the 47-year-old mum of two has made a career U-turn having set up her own dance company and regularly hosts and DJ’s dance classes.
Happily married to her partner Annette Yeo and the mother of two adoptive children, her life off-screen shows no signs of slowing down.
Let’s take a look at her since her dramatic exit from the soap…The Eastcote-born star launched her TV career in the 90s appearing as Maria Watts in Grange Hill before going on to star in popular shows such as The Bill, A Touch of Frost, London's Burning, and Bad Girls alongside her future EastEnders co-star Linda Henry, who played her on-screen sister, Shirley Carter.
