NEWS anchor Dan Walker waved goodbye to the BBC as he hosted his last breakfast show earlier this week. The much-loved star had a huge bash to celebrate leaving the broadcaster ahead of his move over to Channel 5.
Dan, 45, took to Instagram to document the party, thrown for him by his friends and colleagues at the BBC, after his final show on Monday.
He could be seen posing for photos in the BBC Breakfast studios alongside his co-hosts, Louise Minchin and Sally Nugent. The star had been gifted a hilarious red cake - fit with him dressed as a large lobster on top of the iconic red BBC sofa.
The cake offered up a nod to Dan's time on Strictly Come Dancing, where he danced in a lobster costume alongside Nadiya Bychkova.
