Sam Jones, 28, died at Manchester Royal Infirmary on July 26. Stockport Coroners' Court was told the provisional cause of death has been given as a hypoxic brain injury due to self asphyxia. A football lover, he played for teams including Wythenshawe Town FC and Abbey Hey FC. Most recently he played for Wythenshawe Town FC, where he was the centre forward.
