Pablo Picasso’s 1955 painting “Les Femmes d’Alger (Version ‘O’)” holds that record and was sold for $179.4 million in 2015.The auction house estimated Warhol’s 1964 painting at $200 million before the event.

Kim Kardashian has revealed that she changed into a second dress worn by Marilyn Monroe after this year’s Met Gala. On Monday 2 May, Kardashian arrived on the red carpet steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a sheer beige floor-length glittering gown previously worn by Monroe in 1962 when she serenaded President John F Kennedy on his 45th birthday.

"People will get into the moat and slide on a giant slide, so whether you're a child, or a granny, or a grandad. There are many ways to get in, but that's one way - to slide in! Almost like an Alice in Wonderland type thing."He added: "It's from June all the way through to September.
