Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag will go back to Ajax for Brazilian star Antony, according to reports.Ten Hag, 52, is on the verge of being appointed as Ralf Rangnick's successor at Old Trafford.
And the Dutchman wants to make a mark straightaway by bringing in the exciting 22-year-old winger. The Brazil international would be a perfect fit for Ten Hag's rebuild, as he already knows the style of football the manager likes to play.
Going back to Ajax for one of his former players would not bother the new boss either, as he has form for signing players he's worked with before.According to The Sun, United could get Antony fairly easily - as long as they make a realistic offer.
Somewhere in excess of £50million should be enough for the Dutch champions to consider letting him go. Ten Hag believes United should sign the winger this summer rather than risk his value going through the roof if he has a good World Cup in Qatar in the winter.
