Buying new sequinned items of clothing, eye-catching metallic “foil” tops and Lurex leggings is a planet-punishing pastime. And I’ve never understood the allure of the throwaway Christmas jumper.
Bah, humbug. But that doesn’t mean party dressing is cancelled. If you want to wear something special for a festive party or gathering, either raid your wardrobe, buy vintage or consider fashion rental.
