ok.co.ukArthur has been cancelled after 25 seasons of entertaining children across the globe.The fan-favourite PBS series follows the aardvark and his family and friends, including Buster, Francine, Binky, Muffy and Brain, as they demonstrate to kids how to deal with every day challenges like homework, teachers and bullies.
Now, it's been confirmed that the longest running animated children's series in American history is coming to an end after airing 249 episodes since 1994.
Kathy Waugh, who originally developed the show from the books by Marc Brown, broke the news as she told Jason Szwimer on the Finding DW podcast: "Arthur is no longer in production.
