manchestereveningnews.co.ukAn indoor "ice rink in the sky" is being built at the huge Winter Island festive event at Manchester's Escape to Freight Island food and drink hub.
Described as a "boutique ice rink in the sky", it will be located on the newly-constructed concretene mezzanine floor inside Escape to Freight Island, and will open to the public from Friday 12th November.
Positioned underneath the striking industrial roof of Depot Mayfield, the ice rink will also be part of the semi self-contained festive village, where food and drinks from Winter Island are available and can be pre-ordered around your skating schedule.
