Iain Stirling says Caroline Flack would have ‘hated’ missing funeral as Love Island star is laid to rest

Iain Stirling has shared a heartfelt tribute to his friend and Love Island co-star Caroline Flack after her funeral, saying that she would have ‘hated’ missing it.

The Love Island star, who tragically passed away earlier this year at the age of 40, was laid to rest at a private funeral on 10 March.

An inquest heard that she took her own life. ‘Yesterday we said goodbye to Caroline,’ Iain wrote. ‘It was a small services [sic] filled with her friends and family. ‘The day was spent sharing stories, singing songs and of course some tears were shed.

As someone who had the worst FOMO in the world I know Carrie would have hated missing it. ‘And her infectious laugh was painfully absent.
