Their routine earned them 32 points from the judges, landing them in fourth place, but that was not enough to save them from the dreaded dance-off.
Also in the bottom two were Tilly Ramsay and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin, who earned just 29 points for their Quickstep to I Won't Dance by Damita Jo.
Despite the younger pair of dancers placing almost at the bottom of the leaderboard, all four judges agreed that they should be chosen to stay. .
