I’M a Celebrity’s Adam Woodyatt has admitted he does not know if or when he will return to EastEnders. The actor — known to millions as Ian Beale since the soap started in 1985 — is on a break from the show.
And he revealed his contract with the BBC has expired. Speaking before checking in at Gwrych Castle, he said: “Why have I finally said yes?
Because I am not in EastEnders. That is the honest answer. “I am not in contract with the BBC so I can come and do it. It’s the first chance I’ve had. “I’m just quite happy doing what I’m doing at the moment, which is doing I’m a Celeb.” Adam, 53, left Albert Square in January for an unexplained break and has been busy with theatre work and helping with his pal’s burger van.
