I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! newcomer Russell Watson got stuck into a trial on his first night in the camp. But the poor opera singer chipped his tooth during the horror trial that saw him and fellow newbie Ruthie Henshall covered in rotten tomatoes, maggots, and fish guts.

The celebrities joined Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly in a large castle room with a stage, and they learnt it was two new campmates who would be doing the trial.

The first part of the Trial was called Laughing Stocks and was worth five stars. Ruthie was put a stock and read the first part of a joke and Russell would then have to find the punchline hidden in a barrel using only his mouth – the barrel would also contain incorrect punchlines.
