A mum says she's been sent death threats and told she raising her daughter to be a 'murderer' because she takes her hunting with her.

Jesica Murphy, 23, first began hunting at the age of four after begging her stepdad Brendan, 40, to take her weekly hunts. The artist and stay-at-home-mum from Raglan, New Zealand, also hunted with her family, including her 70-year-old grandad Ray Crake.

And now she is passing on her passion for hunting to four-year-old Lyla who she says loves going on trips with her. Jesica says that she is trying to teach Lyla the value of wildlife and where it comes from.

But she claims while she is supported by the hunting community she has also gained enemies who send her threats through her Instagram page.
