mirror.co.ukA distressed mum has spoken out after two women tried to 'kidnap' her young daughter as they walked around a popular shopping centre.
The mum, who only gave her name as Athena, was walking around Guildhall Shopping Centre in Stafford town centre with one of her children in a pushchair and the other holding on to the side.
Shortly after noticing two men were following her, two women approached and tried to grab her three-year-old daughter by the hand, StokeonTrent Live reports.
The women tried to walk off with the young girl but Athena managed to snatch her daughter back. The two women ran off, as did the two men.
