Hundreds of protesters march in Manchester to support Eritrean refugees in Libya

Hundreds of protesters marched through Manchester city centre this afternoon to send a defiant message of support to Eritrean refugees in Libya.

The demonstration began in Piccadilly Gardens at noon before crowds marched through Manchester to St Peter's Square by 2pm this afternoon (October 16).

Outside Central Library, crowds chanted 'we need justice - stop killing our people' and urged Governments in Britain, Europe and the United States to step in and help.
