On Sunday, West Midlands Police cordoned off a short section footpath beside Park Street, near Birmingham’s Curzon Street station, which is undergoing development work to become a HS2 station.
Investigations are now being carried out to identify the remains, which are believed to have been there "for some time". The force said in a statement: “We are investigating after human remains were found. “It is believed the remains have been at the location for some time.
