Huge Wetherspoons expansion plans as pub chain plots to extend Ayrshire boozer
dailyrecord.co.ukKilmarnock's biggest pub could be set to extend its footprint even further.The Wheatsheaf Inn has unveiled plans to supersize their beer garden offering.The Portland Street Wetherspoons already has outdoor seating at the front and at the rear on a terrace.Blueprints show proposals to extend the offering at the back of the town centre boozer with the inclusion of 12 picnic tables in the car park, which will be bordered with new railings.The picnic tables are already in situ with makeshift barriers at the proposed location but railings have not been erected.Ayrshire Roads Alliance (ARA) did not raise any objections with the loss of car parking spaces.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all the local news in your area – plus.
