A large crowd of mourners today paid their respects as a mum and daughter who were stabbed to death were laid to rest. Kilmarnock in Scotland ground to a halt for the service in memory of murdered Emma Robertson Coupland, 39, and Nicole Anderson, 24.
A joint funeral was held for the mum and daughter today, the Daily Record reports. Police and stewards were drafted in to help manage the flow of traffic and to make sure proceedings went smoothly.
Some tearful mourners dressed in black clutched flowers; a number were dressed in bright pink and purple — two of Emma and Nicole's favourite colours.
