The huge fire broke out at a commercial building on Oldham Road at around 10.40pm last night (Wednesday). A huge plume of smoke could be seen from miles around as the blaze ripped through the building into the early hours.
Residents were told to keep their windows and doors shut as eight fire engines and specialist appliances, including a ‘Stinger’, were used to bring the fire under control.
