Tottenham's £1billion stadium has been transformed for the NFL - and it makes for fascinating viewing.American football is returning to London this weekend as part of their international series of matches abroad, with Spurs their locked in host in the English capital having signed a partnership deal until 2028.Ground staff have been hard at work since Antonio Conte's side beat Leicester 6-2 on September 17 to get the pitch ready for this Sunday's (October 2) clash between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints.

It shows the sides of the playing surface being raised to make room for the normal football pitch, which is split in three and moved under the end stands.Below is the NFL pitch, which requires some additional turf being laid down to make it whole.

Sections of the seats are then removed to make way for the goalposts, before the finishing touches are applied - including raising the Union Jack and American flag.Will you be catching any of the NFL action in London?
