2020 really did bring us many changes we could never have previously imagined, and the aftermath of countless lockdowns, night time curfews and rules of 6, meant the Great British High Street eventually took a massive hit The battle between high street and online shopping was out of consumers hands as non-essential shops had to remain closed during lockdown.
Suffering shops were forced to permanently close their doors, and classic favourites such as Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins and Wallis all stopped trading.
What many people may now might not realise, is that whilst all their in-person stores closed forever, and the face of the high street would never be the same - these shops are now back selling online.
