The 21/22 NBA season got underway this last night with winning starts for both the Golden State Warriors and current champions the Milwaukee Bucks.
After Covid-19 related amendments to the previous two years, the NBA season is back to its ordinary October to April schedule.
The off-season saw the usual number of notable personnel switches. Small-forward Kawhi Leonard headed back to the Clippers, the Phoenix Suns brought in Chris Paul, the Miami Heat signed Kyle Lowry, and the Chicago Bulls invested in 23-year-old Lonzo Ball in an $85m deal.
Eight teams also go into the season with a new coach, including Boston, Dallas, New Orleans, and Portland. NBA basketball is available to watch on Sky Sports.
