Manchester United are set to appoint Ralf Rangnick as their interim manager until the end of the season. And although Rangnick is not expected to take charge of United’s Premier League clash against Chelsea on Sunday, due to work permit issues, he will be at the helm very soon.
And it will be very interesting to see how the new man fares against Premier League rival managers, such as Thomas Tuchel, Jurgen Klopp — his fellow countrymen — and Man City's Pep Guardiola.
Ironically Rangnick has previously claimed that Chelsea approached him after they sacked Frank Lampard in January, offering him the chance to replace the Stamford Bridge legend on an interim basis.
