Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress.

From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. The hot and humid weather is a perfect breeding ground for enormous horseflies, with people complaining that they've been bitten by the insects over recent days.
The 'vampire' horseflies - or clegs - usually swarm after hot weather and bring with them the threat of serious infection. Females feed off blood, and bites often result in painful swellings and the possibility of infections which might not be treatable with existing antibiotics.
