Horror film fan's rolling pin murder was so sick even hardened cops were left disgusted

A killer obsessed with horror films was so twisted that even hardened detectives were shaken by his crime.Nathan Maynard-Ellis, 30, met stranger Julia Rawson in a pub while out with his lover David Leesley, 25.The pair managed to lure her to Maynard-Ellis’ flat, where he murdered her by re-enacting scenes from his favourite sickening movies.

Julia, 42, was battered with a rolling pin and her corpse was chopped into 12 pieces with the help of Leesley. The pair then put her body parts into bin bags and hid them around a field in Tipton, West Mids.Det Insp Jim Colclough, of West Midlands Police, worked on the case and was appalled by what he witnessed.He said: “The actions of Maynard-Ellis and Leesley are incomprehensible.

Julia did nothing wrong that evening. “The way in which she was murdered and treated in death were despicable. “Julia’s family, friends and the wider community in which this horrific killing occurred were left devastated by the cruel actions of the pair.
