A huge rat had to be removed from a Scots Asda store after being spotted wandering around the clothes section.Horrified shoppers watched on as the rodent had a stroll around the superstore at Phoenix Retail Park in Linwood, Paisley, on Saturday January 28.
Footage shared on social media site TikTok showed the rat crawling around the George section of the store.The animal could be seen heading towards a section of clothing hanging on display, before scrambling under.
Posting the clip on TikTok, the eye-witness said: "Rat found in Asda, Glasgow Paisley Linwood."This was followed by a number of hashtags including "disgusting", "creepy", "weird" and "don't go".
It's believed the rodent may have came into store in a compost delivery. It was reported to the store late on Saturday night and was removed that same evening.The video on TikTok has since been shared over 2,500 times, raking in almost 10,000 likes.
