Homes Under the Hammer's Martin Roberts was left shocked to the core when he viewed a three-bedroom house in Newcastle Under Lynne with a "sinister" problem.
As he walked through the boarded up home, he explained that there was what looked like "dark paint" - but it indicated severe fire damage in the house.
The property, which was sold for £35,000, was riddled with problems after a huge fire evidently broke out, damaging the walls, windows, and floors not only from the blaze, but the water that was intended to stop it spreading.
