A homemade bomb was hurled at an anti-LGBTQ church near Los Angeles after its teachings sparked outrage. The improvised explosive device (IED) attack occurred at First Works Baptist Church in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Smoke was pouring out of the church's blown-out windows when police arrived at the scene at about 1am local time. No-one was injured, but there was some damage to the building, which was covered in graffiti after being vandalised.
