Apple - Android Labour candidate Martine Nolan came second with 10,343 votes; while local Conservative councillor Nathan Wilson was third after polling 4472.Martin Veart of the Liberal Democrats received 557 votes, followed by Mark Meechan of the Scottish Libertarian party on 254, Neil Wilson of UKIP with 173 and Communist Party candidate Daniel Lambe who received 194.Turnout in the constituency was up to 58.86 per cent, an increase of more than seven per cent compared to the Holyrood election of five years ago; and there were 84 rejected ballot papers.
