Hollyoaks legend Susie Amy is set to make a return and bring back all the drama of Scarlett Morgan. The actress, 41, is reprising the role in order to attend the funeral of Scarlett's ex-husband Luke and has already been spotted on location.

Her previous stint on the show may have been short-lived but there was plenty of drama as she appeared in 2018 to divorce her husband Luke and pay a visit to their son Ollie.

Briefly taking Ollie with her when she left the village, Ollie ultimately decided to return home to his father. Scarlett famously had a one night stand with Adam Woodward's character Brody but shortly after, she left the village. However, her ex-husband Luke and father of her child has been suffering from dementia for several years and it was revealed earlier this year that Gary Lucy was planning to leave the soap after 23 years.Actor Gary joined Hollyoaks way back in 1999 and has been part of some brutal storylines including his character Luke being a survivor of rape.

He did have a 15-year absence but returned full time in 2017.A memorable storyline involving Luke and his ex-wife was his wedding day to Mandy Richardson which Susie tried to ruin. It's not the first time Susie and Gary played husband and wife with the pair famously starring alongside each other in ITV drama Footballer's Wives.Susie played Chardonnay Lane-Pascoe in Footballer's Wives but briefly entered the film world, appearing in James Corden's comedy-thriller Lesbian Vampire Killers.More recently, she's taken to the stage appearing in the adaptation of Fatal Attraction.
