DAME Kelly Holmes thinks Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were being opportunistic in response to claims they queue-jumped at the Queen’s Lying-in-State.
The Loose Women panellist, 52, who queued for 11 hours said: “To be honest with you it’s such a hard position to be in because, of course, I don’t know their story enough to know what the reasons were for not queuing or getting in. "But I suppose if you were given an opportunity and you came out and say, ‘We had no time to do it, we’ve been given an opportunity’ then they were just taking that opportunity, otherwise they would never get to do it.” Speaking about how she met a 90-year-old ex serviceman while queueing she added: “It was the best experience.
