Holly Willoughby helped cause her flop show The Games to lose even more viewers. The presenter is currently fronting the nightly celebrity sports show on ITV which launched on Monday with just 2million viewers. However on Tuesday (May 10) it lost a further 500,000 fans. One of the reasons for the dip was because The Games clashed in the schedules at 9pm with Holly’s rival BBC One show Freeze The Fear. The programme – featuring the stars such as Alfie Boe and Dianne Buswell in icy challenges in the Alps – drew 1.8 million viewers. The Games – which has the likes of Christine McGuinness and Ryan Thomas competing in sports events – trailed behind on 1.5million.It means the ITV show has lost 500,000 viewers in just 24 hours.Fans have not taken to The Games which was revived by the station this year after being axed by Channel 4 back in 2006.Holly and co-presenter Freddie Flintoff have been presiding over the programme which features live action and chat along with pre-recorded footage.Viewers have blasted the show with comments such as “If this was on the BBC I’d demand my money back”, “This reboot is a bit naff” and “This rubbish is on prime time every night this week”.For more of the latest showbiz news from Daily Star, make sure you sign up to one of our newsletters here.Others moaned about the fact that Holly never seems to be off the box.Comments included “I am sick of seeing her on everything”, “Turned off when I saw she was on it” and “Is no one else available to host this?”ITV says of The Games: “The competition builds across this week, before the winner is crowned in Friday’s final show.”.
