Channel 5 show Here Come the Gypsies has been hit with 50 Ofcom complaints.The new documentary series, which aired its first episode last week, has received plenty of criticism from viewers unhappy by the portrayal of the Traveller community.Angry viewers have said the show amounted to an inaccurate portrayal of the Traveller community.Five of the complaints placed were concerning cruelty to horses.The new show gives a gripping glimpse into the daily life and traditions of a travelling communities around the UK.It chronicles the lives of a string of families, including that of MMA fighter Tony "The Rhino" Giles.It also looks at Jim "Bev" Prince, who heralds from Cardiff, who was seen clashing with police in a fiery first episode first aired.
