In a video posted online last week a man appeared to collect a sandwich from a helicopter outside a farm shop. One local resident went on to slam the extraordinary food collection and told the BBC the trip was a 'flagrant abuse' of the restrictions under Covid lockdown rules.
Lancs Live reports that the unidentified pilot was seen to collect the sandwich from Chipping Farm Shop in the Ribble Valley.
He was apparently collecting a roast beef in a caramelised onion gravy sandwich. One resident later said he had tracked the helicopter from City Airport in Salford to the shop using a flight radar website.
