Frank Varey tragically died while swimming in the river in Handbridge, just south of Chester, yesterday. A huge search operation was launched after the teenager went missing and tragically, a body was found at around 11pm last night.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Coroner's Court confirmed a file relating to Mr Varey's death had been passed to the coroner.
