As temperatures begin to rise and summer kicks off, the Met Office has warned the public a high pollen forecast is expected in many areas across England and Wales over the next week.
This is due to the fact that many species of grass will now be releasing vast amounts of pollen into the air, the Mirror reports.
It is advised that Brits who frequently experience hay fever symptoms during the summer period begin to stock up on antihistamines and nasal sprays to battle things such as red eyes and itchy skin.
