Harry Maguire and Darren Fletcher got their wish in Man Utd clash with Liverpool
dailystar.co.ukHarry Maguire were granted a wish by the intervention of VAR during Manchester United’s defeat to Liverpool on Thursday.Fletcher is currently technical director at the Red Devils, while England defender Maguire is the captain of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.They were both watching the Premier League clash from the stands, with Maguire currently sidelined with an ankle injury he sustained in last week’s visit to Aston Villa.They would not have been happy with what they saw from Solskjaer’s men, with a brace from Roberto Firmino as well as goals from Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah handing the Reds a 4-2 win.But they were granted one wish just before the half-hour mark of the clash when a corner was swung in from the left side of the box.Brandon.
