Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave details about Lilibet’s birth so as to avoid the “drama” and the guessing games that took place when Archie was born, commentators suggested on the Royally Us podcast.Following the birth of Lilibet, a statement was made by the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation giving a brief rundown of the birth.It included saying the baby was “healthy and well” as well as where she was born –Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, in California.But that was in stark difference to Archie's birth on May 6, 2019.The media was informed in the afternoon that Meghan had gone into labour in the early hours of the morning, then shortly later another statement said she had given birth at 5.26am.At the same time Harry and Meghan chose not to.
