Harry and Meghan at Jubilee is 'step towards real healing' of royal rift, says expert

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to face Prince William and Kate Middleton in the “first step” towards “healing” their relationship, according to an expert.

The couples are believed to be meeting again for the first time since Megxit as they come together for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have only been back to the UK together once since leaving their working roles, which saw the couple visit the Queen ahead of the Invictus Games in April.Harry and Meghan are expected to be seen at some of the events occurring over the bank-holiday weekend.The couple will also be bringing their children with them, including Lilibet, who the Royal Family will meet in person for the first time since she was born.It is believed that Lilibet accompanying the couple will be a joyous occasion for the Queen and other royals but not everyone believes it will solve problems between the Sussexes and the Cambridges.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield, founder of To Di For Daily and the To Di For Daily podcast, believes Lilibet will be a “wonderful buffer” but not everyone will kiss and makeup.

However, she does believe that Harry and Meghan’s attendance is a big step in helping their relationship with William and Kate.She said: “It is the first step toward real healing.
