Halyna Hutchins was a cinematographer who worked on films including “Archenemy” and “Darlin’.”Hutchins grew up in the Soviet Union, where she studied journalism.
In her early career, she worked on investigative films before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a Hollywood career. Hutchins began working in production while studying cinematography, and she quickly began gaining respect in the field.
Her credits as cinematographer or director of photography include “The Mad Hatter” and “Blindfire” as well as a number of short films and the upcoming “Rust,” on which she was working at the time of her death.
