Ralf Rangnick didn't need to give Manchester United the hairdryer treatment to inspire them to beat Brentford.United survived a torrid first half at the Community Stadium to go on and win 3-1 on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood and substitute Marcus Rashford after the break. The triumph eased the pressure on interim boss Rangnick and boosted United's hopes of securing a top four finish.Reports claim Rangnick ripped into his stars during the break, in scenes reminiscent of when Sir Alex Ferguson used to do the same during his time as United boss. But Dalot says the dressing room remained calm, because United never lost faith in getting the result they badly needed. And the Portuguese international believes United are making solid progress under Rangnick in a bid to salvage something from a difficult season.Dalot said: "We were calm in the dressing room.

We knew that we were not doing enough to win the game, we conceded some chances to the opponent, but we knew what we needed to do."In the second-half, we were a bit more aggressive and had a bit more tempo on the counter-attacking.

We were a bit more clinical on the last pass and obviously, the goals we scored were fantastic. Is Ralf Rangnick doing a good job at Manchester United?
