River Clyde after unexploded ordnance was discovered in the water. The Dalmarnok Bridge, on Dalmarnock Road, was closed by officers after a live grenade and artillery rounds were found by locals.

Mark McGeachin, of the Glasgow Magnet Fishing group, made the unexpected discovery this afternoon as he trawled the river with his cousin.He was using high-powered magnets to dredge the river bed and locate any metallic objects.He told Glasgow Live: “I’ve just left the police to it.
