mirror.co.ukA Greggs fan has shared how they got a massive £50 haul of baked goods for just £2.50 by using a food-waste app. The reddit user, known only as rbrownster1072, said the bumper bag included sandwiches, sausage rolls and cakes from Greggs.
They estimate some of the sandwiches would’ve cost at least £3.20 each - 70p more than the entire bag - while they also bagged four two-packs of yum yums, which usually cost £1.20 each.
In total, the lucky shopper says the haul would’ve come to £49.20 each, reports The Sun, but they paid just £2.50. As it contained 19 snacks, that means each treat would’ve cost the equivalent of just 13p each per item.
