The Wire have been drawn against the Championship part-timers in the Challenge Cup third round, a game that will take place next week.
Price confirmed that Inglis will not feature in Warrington's Super League clash against Leigh Centurions this week but was closing in on a return to action in the coming weeks.
And that could see him play Swinton, who produced their best league finish for 27 years in 2019 as they finished ninth in the second-tier.
