A Wigan grandma is stuck in critical care in the United States after becoming unwell on a family holiday. Patricia Bunting travelled to Florida for a holiday with her sons and grandson.
But the 76-year-old was struck down with Covid and the flu, leaving her seriously ill. She is currently in a critical care unit in Orlando, but as they face mounting medical bills in the US, her family are desperately trying to bring her home.
Her daughter, Emma Bunting, described her mum as 'the heart of our family'. She said: "She’s the glue that holds us together.
