nme.comCocktail and Gone Girl, has died at the age of 65.Banes was struck by a motorised scooter in a hit-and-run in New York earlier this month.Banes’ friends have now told The New York Post that she passed away yesterday (June 14), with her rep subsequently confirming the news to Entertainment Tonight.“We are heartsick over Lisa’s tragic and senseless passing,” a rep said. “She was a woman of great spirit, kindness and generosity and dedicated to her work, whether on stage or in front of a camera and even more so to her wife, family and friends.“We were blessed to have had her in our lives.”It is believed that no arrests have been made in connection with Banes’ death.
