Kevin Messenger, from Kibworth, Leicestershire, rushed outside after heard smashing sounds at around 6.15pm on Tuesday, July 20, and found his VW Polo battered by the falling ice, some chunks as big as golf balls, LeicestershireLive reports.He was horrified to witness his car being damaged by the massive hailstones which also left the vehicle dented, with his neighbours also suffered damage in the onslaught of falling ice.The village's primary school and a care home were also damaged after the 30C weather turned to heavy rain.
